Mission : Malawi – July 20-21, 2013

The team has spent the last couple days traveling from Fargo, through Minneapolis, Paris, Kenya, and on to Lilongwe. We arrived around 10:30PM on Saturday  (local time) and were greeted by Duncan, Damson, and Phillip.

Our team devotional for the day was titled “Serving the Lord in Joy”. We talked about how the Apostle Paul was able to remain so focused and so on mission despite the persecution and trails that he endured cymbalta 60 mg. We reflected that even in his final letter to Timothy, just before he was martyred, he was filled with joy and hope that he would soon be united with Jesus.

“The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed, and will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom; to Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen” (2 Tim 4:8)

All of the team was quite weary by the time we arrived so after our devotional, we retired for the night.

The team woke early the next morning and after enjoying breakfast together will be traveling  down to the village to get settled in for the work that He has appointed before the foundation of the world.

Please Pray for the team:

  • Pray for our safety as we travel to the village.
  • Pray that the team is able sleep well during the mission as our days will be quite full.
  • Pray for the safety of the pastors and leaders who will be arriving over the next day.
  • Pray that the Lord uses us mightily for the advancement of the Gospel and the equipping of the saints.
